Kaylee Main-Gomez
Kaylee Main-Gomez is the Founder and Executive Director of The Main Hope & Health Foundation. Since entering the healthcare field in 2020, she has served as a Medical Assistant in Family Medicine, Pediatric Oncology, a Hospice Foundation Vaccine Initiative serving vulnerable elderly populations across Nevada, and Psychiatric Care, before returning to Family Medicine. She has also gained experience as a Nurse Apprentice on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit and is currently completing her Bachelor of Science in Nursing as a future BSN-RN.
In addition to her clinical work, Kaylee has held executive leadership roles within a nonprofit alumni outreach program, serving as Chair of Community Outreach and later as President. Her leadership has centered on mentorship, student empowerment, and expanding opportunities for underserved communities.
As Executive Director, Kaylee leads the foundation’s strategic vision, partnerships, and program development, with a focus on supporting unhoused students, undocumented students, and families navigating financial hardship.
“I have witnessed patients delay emergency care out of fear of deportation. I have seen families ration life-saving medications because they lacked insurance--families in pediatric oncology forced to make impossible financial decisions. between their child’s treatment and having food for the rest of the family. I have watched children experiencing homelessness attempt to succeed academically while lacking basic stability.
The Main Hope & Health Foundation exists because underserved families deserve systems that protect them—not intimidate them. My mission is to create pathways where students and families are equipped with the tools, healthcare access, and community support necessary to build brighter futures.”
Founder & Executive DirectorTyler Main
Tyler Main is the Co-Founder and Director of Operations of The Main Hope & Health Foundation. Since October 2023, he has worked in healthcare as a Medical Assistant, first in Internal Medicine and Primary Care, and currently serves as a Lead Medical Assistant in a Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery Clinic while simultaneously working in urgent care. His clinical experience in both primary and specialty care settings has strengthened his understanding of the complexities patients face when navigating the healthcare system.

He supports operational planning, event logistics, volunteer coordination, and resource management to ensure that each initiative is executed efficiently and responsibly. His leadership style is grounded in structure, accountability, and steady problem-solving.
“I am motivated by shared experiences and the belief that our journeys should create pathways for others. Working in healthcare has allowed me to see how deeply access and support impact families. Being part of this foundation is about turning that understanding into action—building something that serves our community with purpose and intention.”
Co-Founder & Director of OperationsJade Soriano serves as a Board Member of The Main Hope & Health Foundation, where she contributes to initiatives focused on health equity, access to care, and community support. As a nursing student, she brings a compassionate, patient-centered perspective to program development and board discussions, helping ensure that the foundation’s work remains responsive to the needs of vulnerable populations.
“Born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, in a Filipino family that values compassion, resilience, and service, I was taught early on the importance of showing up for others during times of need. Witnessing the impact that support, culture, and community have on a person's well-being shaped my desire to pursue a career in nursing.
As a nursing student and member of the Board, my work is grounded in a commitment to advancing initiatives that promote health equity, expand access to care, and strengthen community support systems. I am especially passionate about oncology, where I am committed to supporting individuals and families through some of the most challenging moments of their lives.
In my role, I am dedicated to supporting the organization’s mission through leadership, collaboration, and service. I aim to contribute to efforts that empower individuals through education, improve access to essential resources, and address disparities that impact vulnerable populations.”

Melanie Pantaleon serves as a Board Member of The Main Hope & Health Foundation, where she provides insight grounded in her clinical experience and ongoing medical training. As a Physician Assistant student, she contributes to program development and strategic discussions with a focus on expanding access to healthcare and education for underserved communities. Her perspective helps ensure that the foundation’s initiatives remain inclusive, culturally responsive, and community-centered.
“I am a Physician Assistant student and a first-generation Guatemalan American with a strong passion for improving access to healthcare and education for underserved communities. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Biology, with minors in Human Health Science and Deaf Studies. As the first in my family to graduate from college, I understand the importance of mentorship, opportunity, and access to education.
I also have six years of experience working as a medical assistant in a family practice. This is where I gained firsthand experience supporting patients and witnessing the barriers many individuals face in accessing care. I am especially passionate about helping bridge language and communication barriers in healthcare so that all patients feel heard, understood, and supported.
I hope to use my background in healthcare and my current educational experience to support programs that empower underserved youth and expand access to opportunities in education and healthcare.”

Christal serves as a Board Member of The Main Hope & Health Foundation, providing strategic guidance rooted in her experience in criminal justice and education. She brings a deep understanding of the systemic barriers that impact high-poverty and high-immigrant student populations and helps ensure that the foundation’s initiatives remain student-centered, equitable, and impactful.
Through her participation in quarterly board meetings, program development discussions, and strategic planning efforts, Christal contributes professional insight that strengthens the foundation’s governance, accountability, and long-term vision. Her background in advocacy and education directly supports the foundation’s mission to expand access, stability, and opportunity for underserved students and families.
“My background is in criminal justice, a field I entered with a strong desire to advocate for others and spark meaningful change. This passion eventually led me to education, where I currently serve at Mater East Academy, a Title I charter school in East Las Vegas. Despite the challenges often associated with this area, I have seen firsthand what our students can achieve. In my time here, our elementary school has earned a five-star rating, while our middle and high schools have earned four stars—achievements that are unfortunately rare for high-poverty, high-immigrant communities.
While completing my Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, I have become even more dedicated to helping students overcome barriers through inspiration and fortified support. I am committed to the idea that we should never be merely passengers in the world, and I want to ensure that students from all backgrounds have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
I look forward to working with the board to expand these opportunities and touch the lives of those who need it most.”
